Would it be possible to make a gamepad user friendly setting? instead of shift 6 and 7, just use 6 and 7 normally instead? Thank you

I'll look at a keybind file next time I play around with the app. But.. it's probably low on the list.

For now, even if you don't use the keyboard hotbars, you can turn them on temporarily and put the hooksets on them somewhere and bind them to Shift-2 and Shift-3. Then you can hide them again. As long as you don't use Shift-2 and Shift-3 for something else, this should be no big deal right?

So I made a new hotbar and put shift+2 and shift+3 as the hotbar buttons, but the bot isn't using them. Any idea what might be the problem?

If you had enough GP to use them and patience was up, it must be that the bot can't find the actions in memory. I didn't do very much testing on every hotbar, so my guess would be it's not reading the global hotbar memory correctly (which I will have to fix). Which hotbar number are the skills on? Is it a class-specific or global hotbar? DX9 or 11?

Yep, right now it looks like I'm only reading class specific hotbars. Please use those for now until I patch in global hotbars. Sorry!

Well I had another look at this and it seems it DOES read all active keyboard style hotbars, hidden or not, shared or not.

I just downloaded this, but it won't get past the initialization. Perhaps the maintenance the other day broke it?

It's still working here. It might be some conflict with admin rights/uac/antivirus, because that means the program can't access FFXIV's memory. This might happen if FFXIV is running as admin while the bot isn't. If both are non admin, or if the bot is admin, it should work. I'd be a little surprised if it was an [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], but that's always possible too.

Yep, admin rights sorted it right out. Thanks!

Hi,

I am truly facing issues with the shift +2 and shift +3 keybinds here, by default the game uses this to rotate hotbars.

Why not allow the user to select the position or put them in 6/7 keybinds?

Okay, I understand. I'll add custom keybinds soon.

It will take some time to work out the UI interactions and ini saving. For now, please use this alternate build which should press 6/7 for Precision/Powerful Hooksets respectively.

What did you set the collect threshold to? If you leave it at zero, it will only collect HQ tier fish. For Pteranodon I recommend setting the threshold to 1 to collect all fish, since they can all be reduced.

By the way, if you hover over the Collect field, a tooltip will be displayed with some common recommended values for convenience.

New untested release. There were a ton of internal changes and I don't have a sub to confirm everything works right now. Please try to break it and let me know how it goes. :)

It is attached to the original [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], along with the previous stable version for now. If you are having trouble with the forums, here's an alternate link

Thanks all for the huge increase in downloads last month! I hope it's working out well for most of you.
  • 0.116.10.17 (BETA)
    • This is considered a beta release until the community verifies its functionality. No in-game testing has been done.
    • Now saves the configuration to an uminchu.ini file. For now, it does not save individual tug/weather conditionals, and instead restarts to all of them being selected when restarting, by design.
    • Keybinds! Thanks to code from ahk forum user "evilC", there is now a fairly robust keybinding interface. It should work with modifier keys, special keys, and even (single?) joystick buttons. However, please keep at least one copy of the skills on the character-specific keyboard hotbars, even if you disable them and even if they are unbound. Memory reading of crossbars are not implemented yet.
