I'm trying to open a model in the ModelEditor, and even tho I made the textures into .dds it still gives me errors saying it is png textures when opening.

Textures are referenced with name (including .dds,.png etc.) inside the model, just changing the texture doesn't do anything.

The problem is that the textures aren't even named .png as the error log says, i'm kinda lost at this point xd

Jupsi332 as Ankou said you must export in .dae (COLLADA). It works exactly the same way as Cola, only the file format is different.

burnmofo to solve your problem go in "Edit effects" (Ctrl+E) and choose the right texture for each material block using "Change Texture" button.

hello Aishiro, i really enjoy working with your tools. So i want to give you some suggestions to improve them.

WorldEditor:
- If you take a copy of an object it should keep the same height position as the original ( the reset is really annoying if you have to set candle fire sfx and those things )
- set resize manually,like strg+t and strg+r (would be great if its possible )
ModelEditor:
- [CW <--> CCW ] with object to choose option ( all objects are affected yet )

Thank you for all your suggestions ;)

About the first suggestion, I don't think it's a great idea because some people can paste objects under the terrain and say "It doesn't work" because they don't see the objects.
Edit : finally I'll implement it using shift + click like Beast ;)

I'll add the second and third suggestions in the next update.

For information, the next update (1.2) will include many improvements, like the undo/redo (Ctrl+Z/Ctrl+Y) missing in WorldEditor.

Uhm I don't have those options, is that included in v1.1? If so how do you add the update? :o

Some worldeditor bugs found:
-If you have a reflecting object on map the terrain gets reflect effect too.
-somtimes if you paint color or texture on terrain ur editor paints random multiple colorfull circels on the map...

some ideas for world editor:
-Replace Texture Layer function
-Replace Color Layer function

The 1.2 is here ! With many improvements and bugs fixed !

Some files are missing...
The tools must be in the root of your client :)

Since ModelEditor plays sounds you must make sure the files "defineSound.h" and "Client/sound.inc" exist.

critical bug: deleting currently animated objects in the world causes somtimes crash of the worldeditor

and the bug with the colorful points ain't fixed, really annoying to delete them every time again....
...reflection bug also not fixed..

When I try to open the WorldEditor, you see the following error: "Can not open file 'Masquerade.prj.'" What can i do?
