Let me know: how could you do it?
I'm a beginner, so how do you download game.xml or resources.xml from DO server?

Devs, if someone of you would realize a video tutorial about it, feel free to do so, so be it!

With the same way wich you replace the swf files ;)

if they removed visual confirmation and they read we are going to use it in our advantatge to make bots changing the game.xml they will probably put it back

If they removed..... but we can't wait for they will removed part of that system let them identify bot users, and it is only a probability, we can't be sure about it.

Hmm and what about try to create bot and use with it Resolution bug. Is possible that? Boxes will be lower so search pixels must be easier and I think imgs too. Please answer me and say why is that good or bad idea.

Maybe your idea should be good, but I have two doubts about it:

1-Being a bug, BP could be fix it
2-Even if all player use same screen dimensions (3000x2000 for example), no all could be the same pixels definition.

But maybe could works.

This couldnt be fixed. It is in browser this settings not in darkorbit :)

actually not a bug, just a chrome feature, that allows to emulate bigger screen

As I worte before, for my point of view, even if all player use same screen dimensions (3000x2000 for example), no all could be the same pixels definition. :) but maybe I'm wrong, and your idea can works well.

Some devs could confirm it? :)

What is a "pixel definition" for you? I never heard of this.

I think that BP can detect it too, so i think is bad idea :(
I founded a way to search boxes without swf and palla too ^^

I think it's like

me on 4:3 1024x768 on 3000x2000 is diferrent than 1920x1080 on 3000x2000

because on the bigger screen, you will have a bit more detailed 3000x2000 than on 1024x768 and I suppose that pixelbots search by the default resolution which is on your screen (1024x768)

or devs am I wrong? I'm just a "listener" here :) well yes, since 2011. Reading about bots dev but never made any.

but I really like those discussions :)

Ok, I try to explain what I mean.

The resolution tells us one important thing: the pixels do not have a direct correspondence with centimeters or millimeters. In the same cm can coexist in the same 10, 100 or 1000 pixels, and is the amount of these pixels to determine the definition and the colors of the image.

If you enlarge an image beyond its original size using the customizable settings (Chrome for example), the graphics card calculates the missing pixels by interpolation, but adds no new details. The larger the image, the more blurred it becomes. And so, the colors that should be sought, may face those tiny changes to definition no longer be covered by the search parameters of the bot.

The result also depends on the interpolation method chosen automatically by the graphics card of the user's pc.

Anyway, like I wrote yesterday, the PrdlyAndel's could works....it need someone that want dev it, and I cheer for all your suggestions. :)

Very good! Try to develop it! And if during this development, you were able to incorporate the principle of the PrdlyAndel's idea, it would be great: a bot that can see all the boxes in half the map! outstanding!
