VIK003, you get 4 chances before they ban the account. First offence no penalty, second offence you lose 40% experience and ban for few days, third I don't remember but the penalties are significant, forth offence your account is banned. The captcha method is quite new, I just switch to a different account after first offence.

VIK003, if you get to the hangar screen your account is safe and you were not detected yet.
Once you get a captcha you will know the moment you try to log in on the particular server.
You are better off asking for help regarding your issues in the darkorbit forum. Just don't mention bots and captcha.
