I did a clean instalation of archeage after getting packet error. Next installing Mod with option 1. Running option 5 and rerolled with 6. After this i tried to open a second client and here he is again my packet error.
Downloaded the new version yesterday, so this could not be a problem with an old version istalled.

Edit: Before i rolled the scripts and rerolled, i was able to open another client without packet error

I suggest you make a backup copy from the original (unedited) game_pak file, when ever you get a packet error just replace the corrupt one with the back up.

So whoever gets packet error has to redownload the client? This mod just got shitty. Downloading 10gb everyday ain't fun.

Open the launcher, press 6. and try to go ingame without doing anything and see if it works now.

As far as I was told you don't need to press 6 while ingame, it won't disconnect you anymore, you can press 6 after closing the game if you'd like.

I had the packet error yesterday but fixed it right up after deleting the mod and redownloading it, I had a game_pak backup too so I didn't had to clean install.

The mod has worked flawlessly for months, this is a hiccup with the 2.5 update. You can backup your game_pak so you don't have to download every time things fuck up causing you to come on here and post bullshit cause you're frustrated.

Tl;dr

Backup your game_pak, practice good habits.

No need to have a sense of entitlement, you can leave if you don't like it. Besides the majority of people aren't getting packet errors. Re-download your game, copy the game file, install mod. Don't worry, be happy.

Just redownload the mod, and use the options 2, 4, 6 and go ingame to see if you get a packet error, if you don't then install the mod again, if you do get the error then you'll have to redownload the game and after you do so BACKUP THE GAME_PAK FILE.

I'll see later after work if a video tutorial can be made...

It will be fixed by XL regardless so me doing it is pointless since there is a fix for it next week and it would be a waste of time to do so.




Everyone seems to be getting packet errors, I'm doing an absolute entirely clean install of archeage right now, dumping the original files and planning to upload them with the mod tonite so if there is still that issue then all I can tell you is that you are running the scripts at the wrong time or if you own derp then I suggest using as I showed the simple refresh button.

Alternatively, you can run the scripts while already in game, go to options an set borderless window mode to on, then revert the change back, then run option 6, and all of the lua will execute from the scripts as such since it is a hud reload ( which I'm doing something similar with derp but I'm actually calling a cvar param to do so for hud reload in cryengine ).

Yep, working on it and also working on something for derp to run the scripts automatically and also so u never need to worry about the packet error anymore. My time is stretched, I'm trying to answer everyone, so please forgive me if there is a slight delay between or not immediately.

All working flawlessly for me. No packet errors.

Just waited for 2.5 to fully launch, then updated the mod after pl0x released it on 1/27. Not a single problem. Even feels like it runs and looks better (maybe because of the new adjustments?)

I don't use derp though. Never got around to the second donation because i'm not sure i'd use derp.
