Archeage Mod Pack

Plox,

I understand that derp root come from mod that was making game more user friendly. This times it become just a hack.
Conversation on this forums are still about making money with it, BUT.. there are still ppl that are reallly playing this game.
Me myself is one of that group, i dont use mod and derp for making money, couse it is not not efficient way and risky one. If you really understand how the game and market works time spending for hunting chest and undermap speed packs delivery is just a waste of time (at least for me).

But i do still use your work. I know you are pissed on trion fot whatever your you reasons are, but dont forget how you started your work. You promised some tweaks, its been along time ago. Let me remind you some of that (that is personally usefull for ppl actually playing this game). Respec anywhere, vendor anywhere, fixing mail anywhere (for sending, mass receiving). For derp use default/saved setting. For exaple – who needs zoom out less than max when you can control it with mouse scroll? Who does need fall dmg? Who need to be stuck on players?
DO we need to check it everytime when launching the game? I play on 7 accounts which means 14 characters everyday login, almost all the time on my main with game crashes. EVERYTIME i need to check options that even you ppl that making money from it are checking also, why?
Let ppl say who dont use it „as default”. Is there any1?
I understand that you have more important suff to do and „real life” but this subjects are about for months, is there any person that use different fov each time they login? Is it really too hard to make it somehow default per login?

Your work is amazing but plz think about how it really works? Maybe you should think different way. People need your changes, couse its awsome, but if any1 dont need it let them turn it off rather on everytime.

And my wish for cristmas to santa Plox 3% speed buff on checkbox. I play this game only for pvp, Noone is able to count in real game when your gear is set to private but it will help alot ;)

Then your doing something wrong because I made over 50k in a few weeks just doing sunkens on Kyprosa before my untimely demise, mind you with other people doing it the same as me - and I actually stopped doing trade runs at some point because of how much gold I was making. I just never took all of the gold an regraded into anything because it would of looked overly obvious that I was doing something to make that much gold to go so high so fast and I tended to avoid attention in such a manor ingame granted the majority of the time my mouth did get me quite noticed ( think people said it best that I'm better on the forums then game/skype cause I'm more appropriate ).

Yes, tweaks that fell short due to changes or because of dead-ends with it that as you can tell, me nor anyone else have figured much out about. The respec anywhere will not happen because even with adding the doodad id there is a range check ( which they didn't put a total patch note in, only about looting ) that was added to some things in game, that being one of them including the vendor. The mail & warehouse stay functioning because of other internal mechanics not being changed and I doubt they would even do so to change without redoing the functionality of anypost owls an such. The mail send, will not work - there is missing functions on the client end and I cannot figure them out and I've looked through what the RU is doing and see nothing gained there either with it, they actually do a different method to refresh the mailbox to receive the mail too but I don't see why but then again either method is fine.

No, it isn't hard for me to add user set/saved options ( the mini esp is a huge example of me doing it over with guild wars 2 and trust me, people love it over there cause how simple/easy/light weight it is ) , but you realize that derp is still in a developmental stage and there is things I've added to the backend quietly, things I'm still working on, things I'm collaborating with other people on ( like sullx and I are working on a non-archebuddy dependant radar/esp ) and I also am maintaining things across a large amount of platforms. For me to add saving functionality is a bit of a tedious task, because of how I'd save each individual option and what people would actually want on by default. Not everyone would like to leave nofall on 24/7, or fog, or ect - so I ask and get as much feedback as possible from a wide variety of users on skype, collaborate more as I go and get what all I can testing/feedback wise & continue. Not to mention the things trion does quietly that people don't see in the backend or the server that I have to keepup with. It's in short, a mass user debate on who wants what where and how and me trying to pease as many as possible without making people fussed over anything I do in the process & keeping this as hobby since it isn't what I do primarily for $ and keepup with the legal bullshit to avoid those shots fired from Trion, not to mention to keep from releasing certain things too that will death sentence the game or even remotely mention anything that could be possible to avoid people spamming me about it.

The speed hack I'm doing is nothing like what is done previously or currently in the database manipulation. I'm hard-hacking the physics and there is only a 1-2-3 change in it ( granted I can go much higher I don't release that because I'll get a huge back-lash of people getting banned abusing it badly ) and for me to set it lower then what it is, is still noticeable ( even at 1 ). So I leave it at a reasonable speed an let people use it as such and even now, they do often get caught abusing it be it by player or via GM. Trust me, we've tested it to death at different speed intervals and unless I completely change how I'm doing it, it is still very noticeable.

Sullx has been working on this, I've been looking into it, trust me - we're collaborating quite a bit in our free time but he is trying to avoid the trion legal where-as I don't give a good goddamn fuck about trion's bullshit or the people that try to talk shit about the mod an ect. There is no salt with trion or the ru haters, I've never taken full credit for the mod, only the parts I attributed which is quite alot compared to what it originally was and I atleast maintained it a hell of alot better then the RU community and they actually mooched quite alot off me too ( already herd about them digging @ derp for the memory changes I'm doing ;) ) and as for trion, meh - they just mouth with no skill or action.

Don't worry, there is good thing's planned, but as you can see I'm doing this alone alot of the time, with brief intervals of help, but I assure you good things to come and as you see in the past, I provided a hell of alot when it finally came down to it an shit rolled out so don't worry, I got you.

admin'm having trouble installing MOD program in Windows 10, help me solve this problem ... how should I do? it does not work on windows 10?

Don't run it as admin, run it normally (the launcher).

Derp doenst seem to be working 100%. The options on the sliders aren't doing anything.

Derp is working fine as tested. If your running win10 it would need admin & compatibility modes set, if not then you'd need to run it simply as admin in most cases and it does also need the .NET framework ( it runs on as low as 3.5 .NET ).


I've reviewed all of the mod files with a very fine comb, everything is absolutely on par for the current version. The difficulties in the AH sell parts are still being tested ( since I've got to get people to test it for me its a bit slow ), other then that there is some new things coming for people who would rather use the mod more then derp for that convenient sense and less hack sense.

I'll be going through the shaders in the next few days and testing a whole lot of things, which is in the process going to be what replaces the cvars as a whole from camera to fog to everything that is done in the cvars, which will completely remove the issue of needing anything to do with bypassing that since none of the shaders are checked on the client end an remove the black screen issue from those being detected an not rerolled. It may take more then a few days to completely finish the process, but this is a step to go around needing to do so many things in the mod and it being a simple 1-2 process ( soon to be just 1 when the scripts are remodeled & finished and almost in the process of being completely able to go around all checking ).

I said I would produce and update, I won't disappoint and will indefinitely bring something new to the field for both the mod & derp. If you're interested in testing a few things, drop me a line on skype but do be aware I'd need some tech savy in that help an the ability to run/unrun files an know to make backups.

It is just for me, or suddenly Derp is closing abruptly? Just closes with no error message or anything. With 1 or 2 minutes of use.

This happens if someone logs in on another derp client using your username and password.

It was working just fine before the update, now the fog doesnt work or the FOV, Terrain, Object, Foliage.

Speed, zoom, spider Clipping, P-clip work fine, no fall or the refresh.

I run it as admin and comp mode and still nothing.

Im running W10 64.

Yes, that would make one or the other close and log out if another user tries to use your login, this only allows multi-boxing, not multi logins ;)

Everything is working fine, I see no update posted except for the upcoming one on wed.. Have you tried setting it in win7 compatibility mode /w admin?

Yes, thats how I have it set.

The 2.9 was the one that worked fine.

Make sure your game setting is set to DX9 and also make sure you're not using the steam version of Archeage (steam api aka the overlay makes memory shift and it doesn't work)
