lol are you seriously now? about playing on a pserver and about law? cmon xD
Joymax have probably made a shit ton of money, enough to not care about people using their files lol, the staff are probably residing somewhere, on a beach on their own tropical islandQuote:
I would love to play a private SRO but I think Joymax does not like the idea of private SROs making money with their game...And I always imagine myself in the position of those people..I would not like it either. Then again official SRO is just a no-life game. 6 months or more for a max char. You HAVE to spend money to progress. I wish there was no law against private servers that emulate games which are free anyway (like SRO or Ragnarok etc.). I can understand with World of Warcraft since it costs money to play it in the first place. ://.
Regarding the World Cup. The only game I would want to watch today is USA:Portugal but it starts at 00:00 -.-.
It's been dead for a while now. You can't really class it as 'dead' as most old members still lurk here.Quote:
I have just logged onto Merv Sro-R.....I asked people "where do you guys PVP, in which city?". Reply: Server is dead no pvp. I asked: full of bots? Replay: Nah. 99%
. . . What is this?
I had read that sro is dead but I thought people are exaggerating...

In soccer you can't expect anything, now spain and england and probably greece will not get qualified.
Of course it is not true, but Joymax has given up on their game, as it is dead. This means that you don't have to worry about playing a private server - the owners of the server don't have to worry either, since a lawsuit would cost the company (Joymax) more than it would notch them.Quote:
Hey guys, this topic deals with the lawsuit from joymax against ECSRO: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
In that topic it was argued that (that's what I understood) if you use a website that is not SRO related you will not (or are less likely to get) sued by Joymax since they can sue you for using their images etc.. Also, OverLimits in that topic says that Joymax can't sue servers that use their files (and are otherwise totally clean, regarding website, donation etc.) because Joymax has not copyrighted their different versions of SRO.
Can someone clarify in how far this is true? Does this mean playing on BlazeGN is legal since their website is free of anything SRO-related (even the name or website is BlazeGN only)? I am inclined to believe that this is not true.
