If he wanted ready to use server he would just take a working source and code it a little.

I would suggest classic one, because you have something what many servers don't.

I'll make a classic server then.

As I have stated this before, if you`re going the C++ route from C#, you`ll realize how much .NET has been spoon-feeding you for. And it did it quite well. :) Just my 2 cents.
