i get a runtime error 76 (path cant be found) after extracting /ani/control.ani in the wdbatcher.
On the folder [Conquer 2.0] you will see a lot of folders including the folder [ani], and inside that folder ull find the file [Control.ani]
so if u have the batcher and the other 2 files on the folder [Conquer 2.0] the path [/ani/control.ani] should work
maybe:
1.- Is not working because is "Control" and not "control", it worked fine for me with "control" but you could try writing "Control"
2.- Maybe the wdfextractor is not working right (just a posibility, ill check the file later)
3.- You still doing something wrong like extracting the whole folder "wdfextract" into [Conquer 2.0] instead of having the singles files there

tell me if u can put it to work, if not I can do that for you and upload all the files you need to modify

or... since you saw my skin after installing it you can go to the folder [Conquer 2.0/data/main] and ull find all the files u need there

man, so sorry to answer late didnt saw this reply

nice u downloaded PS, now to make what u want try dowloading my .png file on the post#1 (right click and save as...) and then open it with PS.

Anyway is kinda simple to make what u want just need this:
1.- In one layer create a rectangle of 261x476 px (the border surrounding the anime picture)
2.- In another layer put the anime picture of your choice, about the same size
3.- Now create another layer for the little boxes, create one and then copy paste until u have 40
4.- Create the reactangles for money and CP
5.- U also need to add an image of CP symbol
6.- Now u can add whatever you want like another pic a bit transparent, just paste the pic and reduce the alpha (dunno how is called in PS) since i use fireworks

To know where to put the boxes to fit the items when playing conquer I strongly recommend you to work over a sample, like my .png file or converting the original .dds into .pds(PS format)

hope it helps ^^

Well, i was trying to edit the black transparent skin you made using the DIY guides for skinning, but when i tried to edit the this skin the stuff turned to original skins, but the buttons... so i was wondering if you could post a skin with the edits i wanted or give me all the files i need to do the editing myself. i was wanting one with solid black design (not transparent effects) and i wanted to take out the lighting effects in side the hp and mp meters in the circle design, you know where it has white pixels and makes it look glassy, because i make a lot of pixel based macros/bots and the lighting in the mp and hp meters makes it hard having to work around them. so please if it isn't too much trouble, all you just need to do is to take out the transparent effects and the light effects in the meters (the ones that are supposed to make them look glassy.)
Thank you in advance for doing or giving me the resources to do it.
Okay ^^ here it goes...
I just uploaded all skin files, you'll find all .dds files of SemiTransparent skin(including alternative bars) and also all the .png files with all layers.
I hope u can open .png files with photoshop =/ since I made them with Macromedia Fireworks.

all skin files download (15.8 mb)
*link removed*

About takin out the transparent effect on meters, the file maindialog1.dds is the one with transparency over mp/hp and stamina ^^
Good luck with your bot ^^ I guess u want to remove these to make an autohealer that detects when the hp decrease (change color from red to background color)
You can take a look at the code of my Bot [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] because that function is included on it and you can download the code on the first page ^^

well, thats it :)

i have a problem

whenever i try to edit a file, it will work
but in the game, i will either have a big black box around it (when i leave the BG black)

or i will have a big white block around it (when i make it transparant)

i use photoshop with the .dds plugin.
saving under standart settings as a .dds file.

You can't leave it with a black background, it has to be transparent.

Dunno how it works with photoshop because I did it converting and with macromedia fireworks.

Anyway maybe this can help, when u save with photoshop remember to save a .psd file too, so u can keep the work u did with all the layers.

Then when saving the file (with transparent background) to .dds try with another settings because it seems that standard replace transparency for a white background.

If you can't find the right settings then the last way you can make it work is converting those .psd files with the DDS converter.

Good luck.
