What's the average mets to spam for a socket?

is you had 500 mets why not just save up 100 more and buy a socket?

umm... 600 mets on my server is about 81KK. 1 sock attack ring is 100-150KK.

And for the guy that said it only takes 1 met. I'm not talking about using 1 failed met then using dbs to sock. :P

1st try : 3 sock with 90 mets !!! lol
2nd : nothing with 150...

i have never gotten a socket but i have read in alot of forums that there is no set amount of mets that u need to make a socket.so it could be 1 met or it could 653 mets. u have to get lucky.

i always hav 200 mets prepared whenever i feel like making socs.... most of the time i see the soc msg even before i wasted half of it... but twice ive wasted about 400+ mets and got nothin. only been playing for 4 months.... made soc earring, 2 att rings, soc necky, 3 soc boots. all in a month of nonstop trying. i sell my socs and i buy loads of mets to try makin more socs... ive earned loads of money that way. hope that helps.

What I would do if I had a massive amount of mets is try out some of the socket theories and see if they work. It might be better to try those then to spam. :) Usually 100-200 you should get a socket if you spam but be careful of pkers, stay under a guard so you don't get pked. :cry:

It takes 1 met because if you spam 500 only 1 will work =)

Socket rates on my server been fucked up lately. my friend spamed over 1000 in a row w/o break like every 20 sec or so. not 1 socket.


Then he made a blessed socket ring and socket boots later but that was like a week later.... its still LUCK




I suggest getting 400-600 mets before you try. if you make a socket use another 100 or so then STOP. Dont go to far..

i agree with ur theory of just spamming around 200 mets but there are many things u have to keep in mind... one being socket times and the other being a person coord. the coordinate i use at the moment i think are better then just goin under a guard becuase b4 i really though about coord. i used to go under a guard and sometimes get nothing in 400 - 500 mets... now i never spend more then 200 mets to get a socket

You can get socket with 1 met or 1000 mets, go figure.
