Hello, thanks for your interest and for your questions!Quote:
Hello, the server looks promising, but I have a few questions: 1. Is the server full of Turks? Since the website is not even in English.... and 2nd: is this vsro or sroR?
We are running advertisements both in Turkey and internationally (forums, communities, etc.), so it's hard to predict exactly where most of the player base will come from before launch.
Also, thank you for pointing out the website language issue — we honestly forgot to change the default language 😄 It has now been set to English. The website also supports multiple languages including Turkish, English, Arabic, German, and Spanish. You can easily switch the language from the top-right corner.
As for your second question: our server is based on vSRO files.
We understand what you’re saying, and we’re aware of this risk. These are scenarios we already take into account when designing our systems. During the beta phase, the in-game rules we will finalize and share will explicitly and clearly prohibit any kind of abuse that disrupts gameplay, including Gold Coin-related Uniques.Quote:
But you said it yourself that getting full Nova won't be hard, even with just 4 chars. This means that building full nova parties is very much feasible and so all you have to do is use phBot commands to make your party teleport/trace & attack all at the same time even when hunting the "outside" uniques with random spawn locations. All of this is allowed, it seems, so why would they get punished? They will just say that they're two brothers playing within the same household, case closed :D . This system functions in the same way that most other 110 servers' systems do. I know it can be abused because I've done it myself with two computers and phBot many times and so did other friends / guild mates, I would just hate to see it happen here as well because we're kinda excited to join. Up to you, they will abuse the system and the server will die if most players don't have a reliable way to farm end-game content because the system allows abusers to flourish. You'll see, not at first but once most have reached 110 with Novas and start working towards Egy, the server will die unless you make adjustments. Mark. My. Words.
Our approach is simple: we’re not claiming that such abuse will never happen. However, we are fully capable of taking swift action the moment it is detected, and we stand by that.
It is our responsibility to distinguish between what players present as “legitimate” and what they attempt to hide. I personally designed the game and I am the editor, so I’m not dependent on anyone else — this allows me to take swift action whenever needed. Thanks to our detailed logging systems, we can evaluate not just what is visible, but the overall behavior when necessary.
In short, what really matters is not whether a system can theoretically be abused, but how quickly and effectively it is addressed in practice. You can be sure we will not remain passive in this regard.
