great system except for the PC 4 - IP 8 limits, this mostly benefits people with two computers, at the expense of the large majority of players. There are far more players with 2 computers than there are two players within the same household. Why do servers design features that go against the benefit of the majority of players?

Hello, thank you for your valuable feedback. We’re glad to hear that you liked the system. I also understand your concern, and I’d like to explain why we chose these limits:
In a scenario with a low PC limit, players are required to form full 8/8 parties with multiple real players. While this can work if you are lucky, in practice, the more real players involved, the less stable the party becomes.
On a server where reaching the maximum level takes weeks, constantly losing your party, having to find a new one every day, or logging in after work and seeing that your characters didn’t gain any EXP can be very frustrating.
That’s why we set the PC limit to 4. This allows players to build more stable parties either with a friend or a second computer, making the progression process much more consistent.
Regarding the IP limit of 8, the goal is not to encourage multi-PC usage, but to ensure that players from the same household can play without issues. However, since this cannot be perfectly distinguished, we are aware that some players may use it differently.
Additionally, I would like to point out that whether the PC limit is 2 or 4 does not create a significant advantage in terms of game balance. Reaching Nova gear is already relatively accessible, and having extra characters does not provide a real benefit for obtaining items beyond Nova.
Also, it’s important to mention that all activities including Job system are limited to 1 PC, ensuring fair competition in all major gameplay aspects.
In summary, the purpose of this system is not to favor a specific group of players, but to provide a more stable and sustainable gameplay experience for the majority. We truly appreciate your feedback and will continue to monitor this closely.

Thank you for the kind reply. The issue is that there are far more singular players with 2 computers than there are two players within the same household. So in reality, the estimate breakdown is this:
1. Group one: 90% of players, who have one PC and one player per household.
2. Group two: 8% of players, who have two PCs and one player per household
3. Group three: 2% of players, who are two people per household
You have implemented PC 4 IP 8 to help Group 3 which is very kind of you but in reality, because of this system, Group 2 (roughly 8% of players) will have a significant advantage over Group 1 (roughly 90% of players). Anyone that has played Silkroad for over a decade and talked to the community knows that you almost never have two players within the same household and that there are far more players with two computers. Yes, you can farm Novas with 4 chars but those with 8 Chars will be able to farm Elixirs, Tablets, extra items to sell, do objectives faster, kill more uniques, etc... at double the rate. My suggestion is to make the IP same as PC limit. So 8 PC 8 IP or 4-4, up to you. This will benefit the majority of players. Thank you!

Our main goal is to design a system that is as fair as possible. Every decision we make is based on what we believe is the most balanced approach. But that doesn’t mean we think we’re always right. We’re definitely not in a “we made it, so it’s final” mindset.
Feedback like yours is very valuable to us. Instead of relying only on assumptions, we prefer to observe real player behavior and in-game data, and adjust the system accordingly over time.
For now, it’s hard to say definitively whether this specific change will be applied or not. But we will continue to evaluate it carefully alongside real server data.
We’ll keep improving the server step by step with the goal of making it as fair as possible for everyone.

NEW SPEEDRUN RANK!
Dungeons are no longer just farming spots—they’ve become real prestige arenas!
In HWT and FGW, the fastest parties get their names on the rank board.
How the System Works:
The timer starts as soon as you enter a dungeon
In HWT, the timer stops when the 5th Unique is defeated; in FGW, it stops when Sereness is killed
Only the fastest parties make it onto the rank board, and only the Party Leader appears at the top
Dungeons are now arenas where speed and coordination matter.
The faster you are, the higher you rank.
During the beta, only HWT Beginner and FGW 1* will be active.
If the system proves to be engaging and competitive, separate rank boards will be created later for all HWT floors and all FGW star levels.

People with 2 pcs can make stable pts and farm faster, it's fair to make it 8 limit for pc + 1 stall so that everyone is same, all have their stable pt.
Please revise it again

This is cool but it is another example of players using 2 computers having an advantage. Nobody can realistically compete in this ladder with someone that used phBot Manager scripts to control 8 characters at the same time that act instantly in sync...
Also, Gold Coins, the most valuable currency in this system, can only be earned from Uniques where people with their own full party can dominate and KS nearly every single time. You have to at least make Gold Coins earnable from PVE activities where you're not competing against others, such as HWT, FGW, etc... Else you will have a few players with two computers and a well setup phBot with scripts abuse everyone else and the server will die as the gap between these two categories of people widens and the majority of players leave in frustration. We've seen this on 1000 other servers lol

Just to remind, PC limit is 1 in all events and the Job system. With that in mind, we’d like to clarify a few points:
First, let us be clear: Zenith Online is not a side project for us, it’s our main focus. We actively monitor the game throughout the day.
Reaching a high level in the game requires serious time and effort, so most players wouldn’t risk getting banned on characters they’ve invested so much into.
That being said, our logging systems are active. We won’t claim we catch everything 100%, but we can assure you that players who break the rules will not go unpunished.
Regarding multi-client and bots: On paper, controlling 8 characters may sound like a big advantage, but in practice, getting all of them to a competitive level is a serious challenge.
Especially in systems like speedrun, we don’t believe bot-controlled characters can realistically compete with well-organized parties of real players.
Still, if we detect any kind of abuse, we are able to take action quickly.
About Gold Coins, we have a different stance here. The Immortality set is the final gear of the game, and we believe it shouldn’t be easy or completely risk-free to obtain.
Competition and a bit of luck should always be part of the process.
That said, the system is not designed as “only strong parties win.” There are multiple alternatives:
• Job Cave is the main source
• Open world uniques(STR&INT) have 16 different spawn locations, with non-fixed timers (random within 4–5 hours)
• In Shambala(Job), there are 2 uniques(STR&INT) with 7 different spawn points and 6–9 hour respawn timers
So it’s not a system where one group can easily dominate everything — on the contrary, we tried to create a more distributed and harder-to-control structure.
In the end, our goal is not to favor a specific group, but to maintain competition and keep the game healthy in the long run.

But you said it yourself that getting full Nova won't be hard, even with just 4 chars. This means that building full nova parties is very much feasible and so all you have to do is use phBot commands to make your party teleport/trace & attack all at the same time even when hunting the "outside" uniques with random spawn locations. All of this is allowed, it seems, so why would they get punished? They will just say that they're two brothers playing within the same household, case closed  . This system functions in the same way that most other 110 servers' systems do. I know it can be abused because I've done it myself with two computers and phBot many times and so did other friends / guild mates, I would just hate to see it happen here as well because we're kinda excited to join. Up to you, they will abuse the system and the server will die if most players don't have a reliable way to farm end-game content because the system allows abusers to flourish. You'll see, not at first but once most have reached 110 with Novas and start working towards Egy, the server will die unless you make adjustments. Mark. My. Words.
