tried the weapon dupe. so when i relog i do the Take All and shows 1(0) knife or whatever weapon . so nothing shows on my inventory or equipped, when i put vehicle back and spawn it back, the item is in vehicle (so didnt extract anything when i put take all) , seems somethign is missing

Also make sure you have a space open to equip it.. The item needs to equip itself when you die to work.

1 ornithopters is needed, what were doing is using a new bug they introduced in a recent update that causes anything you put inside your vehicle just before logging out to become invisible/ghosted, you only know they exist because the game says you picked up x amount of items, even though you don't see them in your inventory or storage
The steps were doing to undo the ghosted state and make them real is to merge them with a stack of similar items, then we pack up and replace the same ornithopters in order to fix dune's bug.. But the ghosted items have already been converted into real items so we get to keep them.

it appears they patched the ghost items completely. I had 2 other methods using ghost items, including one with seitch switching but ive tried all post patch and none of those are working any longer

They've said in discord that they have logs up and working on telemetry to make sure they log everything now so I would be cautious.

Currently nothing public, the best way to work on finding a new one work on finding ways to create ghost/phantom items, since I would assume the method we use to convert them into real items will continue working.
The bug we used here was new one Dune added in a recent update, I would assume it's not one of the few others had talked about before the bug, so we just need to keep hunting
