And if you do get banned. You just redo the raid 0, reinstall windows and no more HWID ban?
eft uses two different hwid ban systems, the most common one only uses your drives so raid0 will work. The less common one uses stuff like cpu, mobo etc, youll recognise it when you get banned after login

The reason for spoofers to include more identifiers than you need is because they usually target multiple games, not only tarkov one of which may or may not use your mac address

Thank you for specifying. I am aware that the spoofers are meant to be universal, but this one had an EFT specific setting. And for the difference in HWID bans. How exactly can you tell which one BSG gifted you? Is the more thorough one for "repeat offenders"?

And for the raid 0. Does it matter if the disks were both used with EFT separately already? And if I would get banned on them, is just redoing the raid 0 and fresh installing windows enough?

If you get banned in the launcher its the more aggressive one, thats why its called a 'launcher ban'. If you get banned after playing one or two raids its the regular battleye ban that uses your drives

Doesnt matter, if you get hwid banned just rebuild the raid array and youre gonna be fine again

Thank you for all the information, it's very helpful!

Out of curiosity, do you know when and why the more aggressive bans get given out? Does the more aggressive variant happen with manual bans and the less aggressive one when the cheat gets detected maybe?

No clue but I think that its either random or when you actually get manual banned by a bsg employee

My understanding is:

BE bans can happen when the ban is from BE, which generally happen when the cheese is detected (such as the bypass or a functions gets detected by BE. Essentially the anti cheat has to do the ban)

Launcher ban can happen on manual ban. Not certain on what criteria there is for a ban to go all the way to a launcher ban, but I can say that the only time I’ve been launcher banned was when I was banned while playing and it was only the current PC that got launcher banned, a laptop I had been playing on the same account on was not launcher banned. Any bans I’ve had that happened when I was offline did not lead to a launcher ban
