I want to correct you that with MSSQL 2005 you can run our current DB too :) But didn't hear that it is compatible with MSSQL 2008

so i can install sql on vmware and the sp4 and download server files to there?

and from there read tut about how to do with sql and all of this?

its probably a typo mssql2008 wont work because alot of datatypes got removed or changed :)

2000 and 2005 work fine

2008 is possible if u take the time to rewrite EVERY function and/or stored procedure and convert all tables to the new datatypes :)

yes it works i change it to 1024 mb and is work fie but the intrnet in the vmware doesnt work and i try to search topics in the forum but if you know this problem you can write here XP

You have to delete the bridged LAN adapter on the virtual machine.

It has 2 network adapers: adapter 1 - bridged, adapter 2 - NAT. keep the NAT adapter and delete the bridged adapter.

just disable it deleting isnt needed

i have 2 one is intel something
and one is vmare something i try to disable the vmware and my internet still doesnt work :\

i dont now what is the bridget and the net i try to figure it out but i dont understand

yea i using it and i cant enable the internet connection in the vmware i dont know what people mean when they say bridged i have only vmware apdeter and intel something i have these both connections and i disable the vmware apdeter and still internet doesnt work :/
