[Tutorial] Editing Loading Screens

i tried it .... and it worked! haha...... i just try what did i do in ran loading screen.... i used DDS converter ... just sharing(i cant speak in english very well XD)

its ok.. ^_^

DDS plugin for photoshop works fine

it doesnt work for my GCTW though o.0 ...after deleting d load1_tw n load2_tw.kom n replaced it wif vandeasel's d patcher redownloads d other 2 files = = though they are named as load1_tw_1.kom n load2_tw_1.kom lol.....tried bypassing by using main.exe n for sum reasons d loading screen appears to b 1 of d many patches long ago = = .... looks lik I'll have to do it myself , looking forward to ur tutorial ~

I read it and I thought I made a mistake good thing I didn't.

Also does the wallpaper always have to be 800x600 pixels(I merged the default loading screen end up with 800x600 px resolution)

anyways my attempt(didn't bother with the wallpaper actually and I can't think of something in the text)

are thr any certain amount of pixels ( ??? x ??? ) that I must set for my layer when I m doing my LS ? O.0

how to convert it into .dds?

rename it by pressing F2().. just like this. load2_ph.jpg > change .jpg to .dds

well...I downloaded DDS converter coz it doesnt let me open it if i rename it haha...

lol .. 800x600 cn make two 512 x 512 de image ar o.0 how did u do d "Now Loading" bar and d thing which fills up d bar ..

yeah 512x512 thats when they're cut into parts, just look at the first page.... but the whole LS itself is about 800x600 pixels

What program are you using nero or photoshop? I only know how to do it in photoshop.
