Minecraft goes MMO

Minecraft is already turning into money-grab.
With bedrock edition, they are making people (mostly gullible kids) pay for skins, texture packs and maps.
Better altrenative would be Hytale, which is coming out very soon.

I've tried to open a MMO Minecraft server myself, but I didn't have the necessary STAFF members. They were busy doing another things, so I had to stop the project. Still this is a nice idea. Is the server still alive?
