Most server's "BETA" stages aren't even for fixing bugs, It is just there for advertisement lol.

Spidy, Portal, Nectix. This is one idea you probably have the power to enforce.

I don't think this makes any sense. How many servers actually undergo BETA? Not that much. In fact, BETA is necessary for some people who are doing new stuff. No matter how "professional" you may think someone is, they always need to test and make sure it's smooth before release.

This will just lead to the same servers launching but with more bugs.

EVERY server uses beta. I think I've only seen one big server recently in the past 3 months that hasn't (LegendR). Reality is using it, Laonar is using it, and many more.

In my personal opinion, I don't think servers should be allowed to advertise their thread whilst they're undergoing a beta stage. All it does is attract attention before the server is open (that's, if it even does open afterwards) and most of the people don't even fix bugs during this period as another user said, they just use it to gain extra attention and views before a server is opening. I remember seeing somewhere "rules" that you're not allowed to advertise your server if it's not opened in the next 5-7 days. Well, people bypass this rule, by creating a god-damn long "closed + open" beta stage (usually 1 week for each, then opening date is two weeks after the thread is submitted) to gain extra advertisement whilst claiming to fix minor bugs (which, in this day and age, if you can't fix small bugs and you need a beta, just delete mysql and join another server, we don't need standards to be lowered because you can't fix a simple stacking // bug issue).
