They will be rewarded and more than they did on their own due to the high amount of donations from a higher amount of players.

Aye, would have been better if there were less servers but this isn't happening.
Good point.

SRO players do not give a single fuck about the features, they go where the other players gather.

Bringing all together, getting the best... this is all called "ideals of an idiot who knows nothing".

Either way exo nailed it with his reply.
When it would be the only server decent enough around everyone will join since none joined the old crappy servers such as basic ecsro and sunworld for their creativity but simply it was the only server around at the time and the profits were incredible, anyway thanks for your response.

Well as wicked said, not possibru because of trusting issues. One guy stole 1 month donations from one of the most populated server(ya'll know the names so no point in writing them). They thought they can trust him, guess what - they got fucked. I doubt that they would like to make that mistake once again.

And there are way too many Johnny Depps playing the troll onboard ... *cough* highly qualified *cough* GMs and GAs and Helpers and, and, and, ... so on.

No matter who you gather, in the end it comes down to which part of the community finds a imaginary reason to get pissed off about and start screwing up things because lately it's not about having fun anymore, it's more like proving a point, I mean I get u want to prove what you're capable of, but mostly it comes down to screwing up the owners that invested time and money to offer something enjoyable.

Anyway that's my 2 cents, along with the trust between owners.

Some like CHN only, some hate it.
Some like cap 80, some like cap 125.

You'll never unite the community because you can't please everyone.

Some of the old servers such as Ecsro and Sunworld had a huge amount of players whether it pleased everyone or not, people simply played it because it was the only option around and they were happy.

Yes but again, who are we? Why exactly would elitepvpers wipe out the advertising section? Old servers were the only options are their time because they were "old". Now after all these years, you can't stop people from creating servers. And epvperz wiping them out isn't gonna stop this. There're some other forums which are not as active as epvp but doing such a step would probably change the situation and redirect the players to a forum which lets them "choose" where to play.

Because there was no luxury to choose whatever cap/race you wanted.

This! Notice how someone always finds or makes up something which leads to drama and chaos. Nowadays its not even about creating, its about keeping people happy with recycled content and certain levels of editing otherwise it'll be "too new" for them and they won't bother learning how to use it.

Your Idea sounds plausible and nice but:
a.) there are always people who wont join such a Server because Person XYZ is part of it / its team
b.) there are always people who dont like CAP XYZ so they wont join
c.) there are always people who dont take part in such projects and create their own server no matter what

but imagine a Server with 7k more or less active people on a proper machine.
A real isro based one with some cool features like more inventory, some adjustments in gerneral gaming but all in all a isro-like server.
this would bring back good feelings I am 100% sure.

Because what you ask for is basically communism.

bahaha I actually had to laugh.

Also there are servers all the time with a shit ton of players. Why don't you take your friends and play there?

Having all developers join up isn't always the best way.

Haven't you noticed that there is ZERO innovation from anyone here? You guys are playing the same shit the whole time with no major differences... The gameplay is fucking boring as fuck.

The only "new" stuff I've seen is from vessence and his old silkroad reborn server... But they are lacking in too many areas so that server wont work either.

Core-gameplay needs to be refurbished, not necessarily changed. Just adjusted to 2016.

Give the developers a DO-ABLE idea and be sure that it will attract a massive load of players. That way those wannabes will move their god damn asses.

Loyalty is Key, Devs loyalty to the community and the communities loyalty to the Devs. I have been around this community for years, I have seen the good and the bad. A lot of time is invested in development of the severs and more time is needed to create that master peace, I feel that the community just never give the devs the chance to complete the master peace.

Well, if someone wants to do something they just do it. They don't really have to wait till some random people give them the chance.
