[Discussion] Why not unite?

Hello everyone.

I know this may sound odd to some people and may never happen but here's the thought.

Ecsro / sunworld / sjsro .. etc was kinda crappy servers but we had beautiful memories while playing them because they were the only ones around and it was fun because the whole community were in one place.

Now we're all scattered between servers for few months and then jump to another.

We now have a great content creators / developers .. so why not unite?

Why not just wipe the advertising area clean and get all the creators such as Lastthief / Akasch / Synx if he's around ... etc .. we'd have a great time and they would all put their effort into one server where everyone will join.

All the money will be spent on having a high quality server and it would have a huge capacity like 7000 or more with a lot of ideas from an innovative team that's gathered for one simple goal which is to make a perfect server for this community to get gathered and have fun again while making fine profit in the same time.

I know it may never happen since server owners nowadays are too prideful to work with someone else or at least some of them hate each other but well .. nothing wrong with discussing this so go ahead, let me know what you think.

So why do we have so good Server nowadays? There is a competition between this Servers to get more players. Without the competition the owners become to lazy and woun't improve the server. Look to the Servers like zszc, they improving the content more times in a month to reache more players and balance the Server. There are many small servers that start every day, but there is only a handfull of real servers that will allways stay on like zszc or europa-sro.

The majority of the servers are here to make money...
Why would u come with someone together if you're making enough alone? :)

If you check the Advertisement section:
60% servers that are not worth to play.
40% servers that you should give a try and might be good but they fail at certain points which leads to closing them.

Creating one server will never happen. This community can be a pain in the ass x)

Only few of the current server owners are making enough money alone to keep his server alive such as Lastthief if i'm correct and of course it would be more profit as a lot more would be joining that server if its the only one available to them while making it interesting enough for everyone.

Agreed to the last point and yeah i know that mostly likely it will never happen but ehh ..

Akasch is always around. :)

True developers with real experience did actually leave SRO a long time ago, and now then only those with fame are granted to own servers with more than 1k players. Even if you opened a revolutionary server, do you seriously think you'll get a lot of players without even having the fame to bring the players?.. SRO players do not give a single fuck about the features, they go where the other players gather.

Bringing all together, getting the best... this is all called "ideals of an idiot who knows nothing".
