That's "subtle" P2W as opposed to "blunt" P2W.

It turns "buy it in IM because it's not available in game" into "buy it IM, you can't get it in game because someone who bought it is getting it again all the time".

It's the reason you never put in a contested resource that is dependent on another contested resource in the same "level range". Esp in 9D where the general population is actually quite shitty when it comes to doing it because they can.

1. Topic's poster mentioned he picked PA after quite a few biased comments and i was just simply replying to his original post so i can give better information about the other 2 servers :)

2. By your logic i can say that last time I played PA, i saw no one. However, now its more populated. 9DPK isn't populated anymore, Elysium is..believe it or not. And afkers in hefei, nothing shameful about that. There was a good 15-20 stands the other day.. sadly probably the most on any English private server at the moment. Their hourly gift isn't anything special, similar to 9DPK.

3. I referred as "absurd" to 255 xp cards/flags/IM weapons

4. This is why I replied to let the poster know instead of listen to your assumptions. Because 90% of the server are free players (including me) who managed to get FULL gear without spending a penny. Payers can pay, non-payers can actually farm. It's not "close to none". At least try the server out properly without giving people false information.

P.S : If you ever want to try Elysium's CCD by any chance, i can take you in for a test run :) , i'll have to get a few more players as just us 2 won't be able to finish it, esp considering you won't be geared :D

2. Not sure about current gifts, but last time I stayed for longer there were exp/drop trigrams + some kind of blue boxes? Not sure right now. But you can't tell that blue boxes aren't "special". And about that I saw not even one person. It wasn't year ago. It was 3 days ago @9DPK. You can't tell it's long time. It's just the current situation.

But I do want to check just one thing, and maybe that will be the reason to make cap level on Ely. Don't wanna bother with 9DPK anymore. Respect to their GM, tho, he kept all that server quite nice for such long time.

About the P.S. - if I ever get my hands on working Windows 10 client, I'd play. 'Till I need VM, PA is enough to deal with. Maybe I'll try Elysium to hit cap, it won't take me long, probably. Then I can test it. :D

The truth is, I do have a respect for GMs (not owners, tho) that really do their work on servers, to keep it nice and square.

2. Those trigrams aren't really OP. Small HP/VE increase + small drop rate/xp increase. Nothing like WSC/Belt, they're stackable anyway :( . I did state that 9DPK isn't populated any more. Blue boxes are good like that in my opinion, of course it relies on luck, but everyone can get them (multi loggers have advantage as we all know, but still it's free), either you can try your luck or sell them for good amount of gold. Creates some kind of economy as well, because on English privs currently, the economy isn't the best. I know that Elysium's boxes have a lot of nice things including part of the materials required for new relics.

3. Those crazy gifts were from 9DPK alpha(nice way to lure players), but flags and IM weapons (maybe he was confused for blessing weapon) were not on any gift as far as I know.

4. (well I did say 9DPK isn't what it used to be anymore)Tbh I was mostly focusing on Elysium. Compared to the way the GM designed 9DPK vs Elysium, you can see which one has better developing/in-game knowledge and how to make use of everything. One is clearly superior by far. I didn't play 9DPK that much, but I was just giving an unbiased opinion. I can go on and on about the differences but there is really no need. And Yes 9DPK's community is shit :D

Well, you need to see it to believe it.

That is just the preference of players. Just because you think that all those things make the game shit, in actual fact all of those things make it fun for a lot of others. Most like all the op things, but you who is in the minority (I believe) prefer bit more old-school oriented. Actually the best on Elysium is a nuker, its very even most of the time though. Depending on how good you are with the role and know how to build it and which items to use it's quite fair even when there is all those items. But it's true that Hybrids and Healers aren't that good 1v1, but they are good for team pvp. 9DPK now is a lost cause imo.

It is not too hard until mid HG. Until HI2 it takes some time. But from HI2-12 it is actually a challenge.

9DPK's GM did a nice job at the start having a populated server with working whisper, but later on he could not keep up with Elysium's GM when he took control. You can tell if you played on both servers properly or at least had a proper look at what they offer. There has only been truly one proper GM on Elysium (after the wipe, ignore the Elysium long long ago before Revenge was ever there) and he is the one GM (I have him on Skype, he's very friendly and easy to talk to. He's also properly the youngest private server GM lol (19..)). There is Mardu as well but I refer to him as the Founder.

This is pointless, all 3 servers are up and working. If one gets bored will move to another anyways. Each server has a good side and ofc bad side...And joining a server depends a lot on the player gameplay style and what he seeks in game. I hope everyone will understand what I mean to say and stop calling bulllz around...

First part - truly agree. Well, you know why do I hate OP stuff? Check 9DPK - 32k crits in PvP? Really? Only BoT warriors with massive crits' items can do stuff. And you can't get any better than that already.

I quite liked the stuff on 9DPK when they started (except those gifts tho).

It's not only for me afaik, but if you see Elysium - it's just Mardu. That's quite... bad. He's probably the oldest kiddo (mentally) here, or it feels like that. There were so many mistakes. You can't fix it just like that. It'd be nice to make server with completely new name, with someone like GM Revenge to be the 'master', and keep somebody like Mardu behind the scenes.

I think we can agree @ some points, and we shouldn't fight against each other. Except the situations that one side is completely wrong, but it's just as obvious.

Well, maybe I'll try Ely when I get some free time. Waiting for Phase 3 on PA tho.

Even I can't say I like something that I don't. I just stated my personal opinion about servers when others trash the ones that I like...You probably do the same just you won't admit it, or you will. The thing is, I got tired of people that don't actually know how to play this game and just trash other servers/players cuz they are not living up to their expectations. As people are not perfect, servers can't be perfect. There is no "better than" there are just people trying, lets leave it at this and live with it. Hate is all I got from this 9dragons community since I was playing acclaim and its truly tiring to see same shiz over and over.

I will as soon as I get my laptop fixed. This temp win 7 laptop I bought for game isn't so great. Especially since I'm playing a CK role and spamming aoe. The high drop rate means as soon as I aoe 6-8 mobs die and the whole screen is filled. I have to spend 5 mins spamming space bar so I can click mobs again. Good thing I have no XP Cards :)
