If you want a good private server learn how to do that,if there are 1000 pserver of 12sky , from 1000 pservers only 1% are 99% populated,and why? because they know how to maintain a server and attract the peoples,with events,updates and things like this.You are not the official server to give restriction to others to create a simple private server,oh yeah you got license for this files?NO?!then leave others!you know you cant modify official client due of copyrights?I think you know and you did that.The only one pserver that will be legal will be InfinitieSky ! I think you know why because you are smart.

Dont want to interrupt this most peculiar discussion, but maybe just maybe. You all want the same in the end?
A working server, without outside attacks, with nice updates, with good support. Right? Then give it some time, Zenith and anrinch will get their own things sorted, it has only been a week since they went live.
As for the legality of the servers....I dont think clients are an issue, only the server files are. Client is public afterall.
Anyway, use your energy for positive things!

Personally I dont care for more servers, its a waste of energy and money for the existant population number. It's better to work together.

But Troy knows all to well this cant be done alone, thats why he works together with a team. And as such they share among themselves. And thats fine, no reason to release everything just like that. I would be worried the knowledge could be used to find exploits.

Infinitesky is different, its a totally different project with happenstance the same game. They probably will merge over time, but as MB said its open-source. So if ppl want to provide help with getting this game to its former heights, they should look into that project. Instead of getting a server up with these chinese files.

All I can think of is the saying from Men In Black from Will Smith, on a positive note, cant wait for Anrinch to be back online!

I meant that by trying to stay the only ts1 p-server. But I understand what you guys are trying to achieve. I won't and I can't stop you by any means. I just like if there is more than 1 server, creates competition. Devs don't get lazy :)

In the other hand, If AE needs help setting anything server related up, hit me a pm. (I've got 3+ years of experience with Linux/Windows servers, ESXi virtualization environment, setting up monitoring for applications etc.. basically everything a typical sysadmin does).

EDIT: I think we should create seperate thread for the discussion we've been having for couple pages now.
