I vote Yes!

It just feels unnatural for someone deeply involved in running a private server to moderate. Even so, I vote yes, I trust him at being able to do it.

The rules do say: "As a moderator here you are not allowed to be a staff member of private server projects" but as he has been a mod before it's probably fine.

That's the only reason I hadn't applied as there is technically that would disqualify me. That being said if they decide they want a mod (and no shade to the epvp staff but if they don't get an active mod for the co section AND do some re-structuring it's gonna keep going down the tubes) then I'm not seeing many alternatives.

Conquer is such a well documented game at this point that anyone with the required knowledge to be useful in the section probably is involved in some sort of project (aka why they are still here and haven't moved on to a different game after all these years).


I'd argue that my existing experience and the fact that I run my projects as properly as possible (not letting emotions or greed get in the way of what needs to be done) kinda discounts the main concerns that rule would be aimed at.


We'll wait and see what the staff think though. Personally I'm just sick of looking at the mess of that section and really would love to see it improve. Wont happen though unless ppl 'step up'.

Regardless of Chris's state of involvement with private servers, he really is the only and last qualified member available to moderate who still has activity in the community. There is literally no other person better qualified than Chris. As I stated before, it would be a huge mistake by the staff to overlook his application, especially given the state of the section.

Pardon my lack of patience, but the urgency of this application needs to be acknowledged. As much as JP has been a great moderator, his schedule is affecting the section. Posts that I reported two days ago have yet to be addressed (which is a problem when our section is primarily spam requests these days; something that will also need to be addressed in possible section modifications). Either we have this application reviewed and gain closure, or we get a temporary moderator in to assist. Regardless of how the situation is resolved, it needs to be resolved quickly. Thanks.

Pro4Never has been a great mod before and I am confident that he will most likely be a great mod once again.

Known Chris for a while now, and he is a really good friend, great programmer and most important someone who knows what the fuck he is doing, I don't think we have anyone else in the conquer section who qualifies more for the moderator position than Chris, and as Sedat said he was a moderator once and he did a great job, so pretty sure he can do even a better job now.

And you can't simply disqualify someone only because they have a private server, you should see it as a gurantee or something, look at his server I mean he has so many players although he is the only one running it and whatnot, yet the number of players keeps getting higher and higher. And that means he is a good leader and could do hell of a good job around here.

The conquer section is so fucking trashed it needs cleaning immediately, I honestly don't know why this is taking so long, so far no one said anything negative about him except that one guy who has 0 friends and tried to be funny by saying "No".

My vote is yes and you should hurry up with the application because it is in the best interest of us all.
