Application [Conquer Online]

Hi all

I've been a moderator on EPVP in the past but gave it up due to lack of time and no real interest in the game. I've been back involved heavily in the community for the last year or so and the section is in need of new moderators. Currently the section is pretty rough and in need of a full re-organization in terms of rules/structure/etc and so I'm offering to take up my mod position again if needed.

What is the reason for your application:
Conquer online section needs some major re-structuring and currently only has one moderator. I'm offering to take over to help provide full coverage and help with any future transition for the section.

Experience with the subject: (What experience do you have with MMOs and the game or the subject in particular? How long have you been dealing with the subject?):

-I've been involved with conquer online since it was released for the North American Beta (12-13 years now?... I dunno it's been forever) and have been involved in elitepvpers and conquer programming/development for the better part of that decade

Are you mentally prepared and fitting for such a position? (How do you see yourself? Can you handle questions which seem to be stupid? How about your knowledge of people in general?)

I have around a year of experience moderating the conquer section on epvp, have worked doing tech support for the past few years and have since been responsible for large amounts of player support tickets and moderation.

Experience as a moderator (If existing: How long have you been moderator and what was the subject?):

Moded for the conquer online pvp section for a year or so
Was admin on a number of forums and development projects over the past decade involving conquer.

Yes, and here's why I support his application. When I first established myself in the community back half a decade ago, Chris was and always has been an encouraging and active member of the community. Even as just a member, he's given our developers time out of his schedule to advise and mentor. He has always been easy to communicate with and ask for advice, and holds an extended knowledge of the subject: Conquer Online. Honestly, I can't imagine a member better suited for the moderator position than Chris. Overlooking his application would be a missed opportunity for our section.

I vote yes. I couldn't think of a better person to take on the CO section.

Yes. Chris is already reporting a lot of posts (which is helpful), but it would be more than appreciated to have some help to keep the CO2 section clean as I don't always have time. He's knowledgeable. He helps people. He was a mod previously. He's really active lately and contributes to the community (one of the rare person still contributing instead of only asking questions). Brief, a perfect candidate.

Haven't seen a single person opposed to this. Get it done epvp.

Running successful servers. Helped a lot of ppl including myself with the skills he has. The dedication he had and still have for this CO forum shows by the likes/thanks he has obtained through the years. So, yes.

The administrators review actions like this once a week, on weekends I believe if they have the time. Something like that. Anyways, it'll take a week or two at minimum for this application to be approved.

I vote no.
