YakuzaCO is pretty much legal if we decide to use our custom client.

You can redo the whole Client I think, than change some things to make sure you don't use any of their ideas, pictures, etc. It is possible, but that would be almost the same as redoing the whole game, and if you can do that, you'd probably rather make your own game lmao.

Only way to be "legal" and not have permission would be to have your own client. And by that point, it's not Conquer. And if you use the files/stuff found in Conquer, TQ/NetDragon will probably sue.

lol if u change the whole game its legal mate as long as none of the code is the same as conquers or graphics u dont need permission if its all alterd the client will be differant everything will be so it isnt over!

i know but my ideas for once i alter everything for it to be based on conquer just looking completely differant so people can join a private server without wasteing time when one day its gonna be shut down!

I think it would be legal if you do not post a link of a client of conquer on your website? AcidCo does that..

it is legal if u do what i say if u get an image of a website its illegal if u edit it so its un noticeable suddonly its nto copy righted anymore its got the same idea but with games u need to custom not jusut graphicle things but the code then its all legal ! just add me msn if u wanna help ive got A LOT of people adding me and joining my team just no one whos got a server or who wants to host the 1 i actully do have!

I had to laugh at this. If you make your own private server then it wouldn't be conquer. If you take TQ Digitals ideas and use them then the possibility of Copyright infringements. I don't understand what you are trying to do. It makes no sense to me at all. Good luck anyways.

The only way to make a legal conquer private server is to get TQ's permission. New client with different maps, different items, different layout, i dont really think thats conquer anymore is it? and if u use archer/trojan/warrior/taoist, its still illegal files. You can make an illegal private server or make a completely custom game, but you can't do in between.

That's just stupid..Ask for permission? Its just like asking for a no. If TQ actually ALLOWED someone to host a server without getting in any trouble do you know how rich that person would be? I mean come on CoRevo owner makes like 600 bucks every now and then from his server. Think about it.

I know its stupid to ask for permission, your completely right, why do you think theres no legal private servers? lol, i was just saying its the only way possible. and the CoRevo owner does get a lot of money, which is one reason i dont get why ppl play that server, he doesnt give a damn bout his server just the money, but that doesnt mean the way he makes the money is legal...

To make a server legal you just need a custom source and not link to a client....you dont need to re-make a client completely....
