Open Start -> type "Launcher" when it finds NFS, go to the folder containing the *.exe and rename it from "Launcher" to like "Launcher1"

You can still play on XP if you have someone else run the autopatcher to get the files. Although you'd need to use another tool (i.e. Cheat Engine) to inject "Hook.dll" into the client (since "launcher.exe" doesn't work either on XP)

Autopatcher.exe isn't working too.
so i can't get launcher.exe or the hook.

I already changed my windows but just saying that cuz if there is some still using xp and want to give a try :)

as if he can't run autopatch.exe he can't get the other files to make changes to it as he say.

u should edit GameSetup.ini make in the autopatcher incase of someone forget to choose Legend server.
and hey will think that the server is off

If someone can't even follow the most easiest step by step guide that is given at the downloads page, that person doesn't deserve to use a computer.
