I'd be willing to give it a shot, but it wouldn't be a 5-minute job. I've estimated that I can spend ample time in each forum and still get a lot of stuff done, so this project would definitely a plus for the Foreign sections.

Well, it has been a few months, but I'd still like to be a mod someday, even though a new batch has already been selected. I've just been so busy with the new semester, but I'll be on probably a few hours a day in the summer ;)

Maybe you should reapply as a guard?
