[Guide] How To Play Silkroad On Linux

Hi, Dont know if this thread is still active.
I got a Linux computer with 500mb RAM
I tried to follow the steps but run ZSZC SRO (privite server)
I really lacked out. froozen and had to sign off. So what can i do to fix this?
is this impossible for this computer or is this fixable?

I have installated linux few days ago..
But sro doesn`t work for me.
I have updated it today and when i press start game guard starts and then sro stay.
Im using Ubuntu 10.10
I need help!

I recommend you Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid. I think 10.10 is a crap.

Also I know a better way to install silkroad on linux:

You just specify the setup package of silkroad and it will install it.

By the way, there is a problem with silkroad nowdays on ubuntu:
The HackShield update fails, caz the wine doesn't support it's operation, and because of this the silkroad doesn't start. The update progress works.
Anyone know a soloution for this problem?

Silkorad no more works on Linux/Wine for the july 2010 update: the new Silkroadguard version is incompatible with Wine. A bug has been open to the Wine HQ site: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]. But no resolution is planned at this time.
