[Read&Answer] Two Questions

am i missing something here?

i think this guy wants to be able to take, for example, a +8 weapon, that has DN options on it, then take it in game and make it +9, BUT when it goes +9 he wants the DN to be wiped off of it, please correct me if i misunderstood

i say this becus, Janvier is giving how the database lists options per weapon, which i know for a fact is 100% correct, however knowing that wont help him achieve wiping the DN when he +9's it in game

and Godric keeps saying to change the min and max options columns on the +9 item in the item file, which works perfectly fine for an item thats dropping from a mob, but will not change anything on the item when +9'ed in game instead when u go from +8 to +9 it retains w/e magic, noble, or DN stats the item has no matter what. the min and max options will ONLY apply for when that item is dropped from the itemset file, afaik the min and max option columns work in conjunction with the Set0_MagicRatio, Set0_NobleRatio, and Set0_DivineNobleRatio columns in the itemset file and have no bearing on any other alteration to the item its self

which is why im confused on why u guys keep bringing it up, am i misunderstanding what the OP wants?

He wants the item to lose its dn stats when he makes it +9. Like he said, he has a +8 with dn stats, and whats the stats gone when he makes it +9.

If he meant something different then no offense to him but he is HORRIBLE at explaining something.

I just think Godricc is in to high a need to be right or something, or he has mistaken it and doesn't wanna admit he took the question/request the wrong way.

That wont make him lose his DN stats when you enchant a item from +8 to +9.... that is just the info the game uses when a item is DROPPED... not ENCHANTED.... Did you not read?

I thought u were a good dev... lol.

i never tryed it same as any one else here so im just trying to help him so pls stfu if u cant even help him urself ;) and no i do not have time to read all got better stuff to do im just trying to help .. anyway the DN stats are so low that compared to a NO DN weap it wont be much diffrent so i dont see the point in removing it at +9 . :) go and pvp with and without DN and ull see lol unless u are having OP stats added on them it wont be much !

same as everyone else here?

speak for urself :P i have tried it, it doesnt add those stats unless it gets dropped from the itemset according to rates in the columns i posted about, and certainly doesnt take them away if you + it up either.

and it really has nothing to do with being a good dev or not tbh, just an observation that was made during trial and error.

Oh well i didnt meant to say every one else here haha. more like most of us didnt try it cus its kinda useless , why would u wanna remove special stats on a weapon anyway haha

I started a war, and I shall end it.

Well, the OP (me) wanted to know if it was possible to remove the divine noble from a weapon which has dn until +9. I want it to be wiped at +9 cause it's a legendary weapon then and I don't want the DN to join the legendary options which are given because that makes the weapon too overpowered (dn stats are quite OverPowered and fugly.

I tried it, yes Conquer93, and it didn't work.

I believe I answered all questions?
