well it figures. for your needs you dont need to build a server it would be kind of complicated for ya. better look for some other server to join in.
anyway if you persist then you first need to decide on what version and what kind of server you will be running.
there are some "coded from scratch" in C# / .NET for like 5016 version.
there is the binaryes for ver 5065
etc etc
latest news talks about some running Pserver on latest version if you wanna join that one.
we can rule out TQ official servers as long as we all know how much they f**ked the game to kill it for some money...
