but w8 now i know there is traps but what are they? like a effect or? since i never used it idk what are they? which part of the client i can search for them to gather more info.

They are effects that display on the ground. When a player lands on them the client should inform the server so that the appropriate action can be taken (think like portals except they are spawned dynamically by the server)

I've never used them before but that's how they worked in eudemons and I've heard of people who've added the system to conquer.

Traps were I believe the only example of them in classic conquer. In current conquer there's a weird skypass quest where you walk along and hit different color traps to advance or fall back a number of coords much like a board game.

Traps can be used in boss fights as well.
