Out of curiosity, am I the only one that is experiencing difficulty attaching to conquer? It seems that it almost always terminates the game when I attach to it. If it helps, I'm using Ollydgb v1.10 and Conquer v5183. Seems like they finally implemented some form of security :P
Make sure that you are in the right module when you're doing this. It should say "module Conquer" on top of the debug window. If it doesn't, press on the blue E and double-click "Your conquer folder/conquer.exe" in the Path column. This is common if you attached to the application.Quote:
I'm sorry to say that i've used OllyDBG before but, going by your guide, i was only successful in getting past steps 1 and 2. The 3rd step is where i have a problem with. Is there a way to get past the 3rd step and do the 4th step when using an Multi-client? Again, i've used OllyDBG before and i apologize for asking such a noob question. Thanks
According to my version (5183), the TAB trick does work with the given instructions. The only thing I noticed is that the Cases sometimes don't appear. Either way, the calls are all still there. Use the GetKeyboardState comment as your guide (same column as where the Cases were) and the image attached in the first post.Quote:
