yeah, its possible, but if the server and the client are wanting 2 different things (as in procedures wanting a certain amount of information, a certain size, a certain type, more info, less info, etc etc) then it still wont do much good unfortunately, that along with what the DB will be wanting makes for a very unstable running client and server, which is why ike will be working on it still for the next year, there is alot to add, alot to modify, and alot to sync for the DB, server, and the client, as far as i can tell the sub-servers are a very important part of the process, and modifying them will be a guessing game at best as we have nothing to compare it to unlike the leaked server and the current official client, by tracing what the server is asking the DB for its a bit easier to guess what it needs, but even still its a guessing game as well, there is really no way of knowing exactly what all needs to be added or modified, and that chance of instability will always be hovering above the intended outcome of the project, which i assume is why hellspider dont want anything to do with it, to put months upon months of work into something only to be left with a client that crashes randomly or a server that spits out untold errors can leave one to realize a year of his life was wasted working on something that never came to be, its hard enuff to modify and add to what we have now, i dont blame him a bit. i know ike has done alot, and kudos to him for all the work he has put into it so far, but the probability of him working on it for the next year/year and a half and having a completely operational and stable a9 server is very low, even with all the obviously happy results he has had thus far, in a year or more what action will be out? and what all will be added to in the upcoming actions? and what if (and its a big if, happens to me with almost every action released) a week b4 he has everything done and ready to release some stupid DK dev accidently leaks the A11 or A12 server and subservers? then even tho he has worked his ass off getting the A9 files to work, every noob this side of the equator has more than what he has worked on by just downloading it, what then?
i have to agree with hellspider on this, its just not worth the time or frustration to give up all ur time and effort just to get exe's that are already old working, when we already have vast knowledge of the files we currently have, and know how to modify them and add to them, i commend ikes efforts, and applaud him for what he has shown us, but even he said it, could still be a year b4 its even worthy of a release, in that year he could just as well as learned C# or Java and made an emulator that runs the current official client, prolly run better as well as the DK devs code is a horrific mess as it is.
