Well, I believe that both you applications are really short, but as well, they are straight to the point, which would never be bad at all, yet more information is a plus all the time, not because it would be a "competition" but because if you want the position you should show that you can be professional.

I have noticed something interesting, you are not even reporting, at all, so that makes me wonder how well would you develop if you get the position again; as just because you have knowledge hacking won't get you the position.

Currently, I wouldn't be able to support the application.
