[HELP] Register Page

I think people would be less inclined to be rude if the ones asking for help would take the advice as opposed to "I'm new, do it for me instead". I've released one thing. One! And I doubt if I'll be releasing any more. Since releasing my basic launcher source, which is very, very simple to understand, I've gotten a ton of skype and epvp pm's with people asking me to make a launcher for them. Many even claimed to be developers... Bollocks to these sorts of threads. We've got to stop spoon feeding these idiots. Especially habitual beggars like mongrel here.

You don't right. go to dc and find 2 of my releases in lua scripts
and i helped a couple of people here. don't tell what you don't know.
It's hard for me like for you to release and don't get a help from otehrs devs.

Usually PHP supported the mssql_[...]-thingly (their own SQL-Driver), but since PHP 5.3? they stopped supporting it, I'm not sure why.
Since then, Microsoft thaught about coding their own SQL-Driver for PHP, called "SQL Server Driver For PHP", as you should know.

The TE want to use the original driver, not a different one (btw: the one from MS is crap, just sayin').

Gut geforscht Xij, um genau zu sein wurde der support nicht beendet sondern aufgrund von einer neubearbeitung der arbeitsweise von 5.2.5 auf 5.3, und damit leider erschienenden bugs, kurz pausiert. Das mssql_ plugin exisitiert im übrigen noch, sollte* aber nicht funktionieren. Gerüchte besagen das es in einiger Zeit wieder funktionieren soll bis dahin.. Sucht euch am besten ne PHP 5.1.3 version raus die funktioniert am besten!

Im übrigen gibt es noch mehrere Probleme wie die fehlende bzw. nicht aktivierte mssql_ extension. Z.b. die secure_connection.. aber das solln die mal selber rausfinden :)

EDIT: Das sollte war aufn alten stand bezogen, jetzt sollte es funktionieren :P

All right now, reinstalled xampp and installed all drivers and extensions again, all works.

it works, just reinstall xampp and download sql server 20 and 30 drivers from microsoft, put it into xampp/php/ext dir and enable extensions in php.ini

Why anyone would willingly choose the MSSQL api over the SQLSRV api is beyond me. They are almost identical in terms of syntax and SQLSRV is designed with the newest versions of PHP in mind + is updated and has support from Microsoft directly.
