The server and client will be very lagging then, due to swap (or whatever it's called on windows).

You might get one zone running, but it's going to be very lagging, your cpu is quite old too. Better to rent a server somewhere or buy a completely new pc, that one isn't worth upgrading anymore. The new sandy bridge cpus us much less energy and are 5x faster. Also a decent kit of 8gb ram costs around 50 euro nowadays so it's not worth the trouble

if you want disable all the regions but 2gb ram still wont be enough

What if i use swsro files and only run the server off the pc?i can use my old laptop to run the client.

No reply given will be useful as trying so just download the files and give a try :)

actually,I doubt you can run with these specs,I have never seen a PC running around.

with ecsro files you can run one for fun :) , you just need to remove monster spawn and will be perfect

As lordyk said, remove most mobs, because most databases handle around 50k mobs, and that is like the equivalent to using 4-8gb ram i suppose?

If you disable region, you disable mobs too, so whats the point?

Is there any more ways to reduce ram usage except mobs?
