Can i run with these specs?

So im trying to make a server for me and my mate to play on and heres my question:will it even run?my specs are dual core E8400 at stock 3.0 ghz,2 gigs ram,512 mb ati radeon x1950 and my motherboard is an asus p5k/epu.thanks in advance!

What if i disable every region except the chinese ones?

to handle like 100 Players online
and like 40/kbs upload rate that the lowest one
and u gonna handle like 120 Players Online
that if u gonna host server at ur house
if VPS 4 GB it gonna handle like 300 ++

If you want to use vsro you have to buy more ram. But you could look at the swsro server files. those need a bit less ram. but it'll be a problem if you want to run the client and server at the same pc.

still vsro will take a lot of ram. I installed that stuff once on a laptop with 4gb ram and had everything disabled except jangan and ran the client at the same laptop and my ram usage was 100%

with the client closed it was still arround 90%. Every process takes at least 100 mb ram and the gameserver 500-700 mb with everything closed except jangan. so with the bare minimum you're already at 1.3 gb and there is a sql server running which takes quite a lot of ram and your own OS so you'll exceed the 2gb by far.

You could try swsro and host only a server at your pc without the client cause running a client too will make your pc extremely slow.

if i disable regions on swsro files would it run better?all i really need is the region around jangan i can edit the mobs xp rate so i can lvl up there with my mate :D

swsro might just work but you have to try. But I think it won't work if you have the client at the same pc. Just buy 2gb extra ram and you can run swsro and client fine.

If you want launch on 2GB RAM try to use ECSRO Files :)

If it's just for you and you friend, 4gb shouldn't be too bad.. RAM is cheap to buy anyway, so upgrading to 16gb ram(can handle 700+ players) will only be around £80-90.

Too bad he has ddr2 ram:) but that's not that expensive either. 2gb is about 30-40 euro.

and I ran a client with all of them with 2gb ddr3 ram
