future of private pvp servers n other stuff.

for me .. i h8 pvp servers they r Boring especialy if the attacks rnt coded well as seen in the most of Servers ... i belive once u Save the Entertainment to players they will like it and Surely ur server Wont be Lifeless Beside New ideas , New Classes ...Players would need Smthing Entertaining Beside New Stuffs ... I Found the best 2 Pservers till now r Trinity , Angelic but actually i liked Angelic Co better its well coded server & Unlaggy Too

In my opinion, communities is the only thing that take the pserver up or destroy it apart.. same case happened to realco [fail], CoEmu [success]

TQ raped CoEmu and MagicMan went away for half year. He asked me if I would run it, but hell it's now over a year ago and I doubt I'll get an answer any time soon.

Their facebook page says that there's a hope :/

Don't believe in hope. Last time I spoke with MM was in June last year. he asked me if I could run the server and I said yes. I haven't seen him online since.

Lol,I believe that TQ didn't hire a killer to kill him.

He was entirely unimportant in the grand scheme of things, a guy with a server i doubt TQ cared at all to be perfectly honest.

He made quite a lot of money and was rank 1 until the first letter from TQ as they closed down lol, after that the server died, but in the development of Private Servers no, but in the community yes.

In his community perhaps, the only time i ever interacted with him was when i heard a server called CoEMU had started up and effectively stolen the name from the CoEMU source team.

Beyond that he was a nobody.

Lol the server itself was crap IMO. It was the community that was great, tho it was what got me into Conquer & Programming.

Indeed, all the more reason for my comments, and all the more reason that people just forget about him, another nobody will just turn up and start a server that was as good if not better, it doesnt really matter who runs the server, the community defines it.
