*Sigh* I'll admit I was a little irritated, by other things in life, and I didn't think through what I was saying.
I'm no programmer, I'm no tech genius. I know as much as I find out myself through first-hand experience. I've just had a lot of experiences.
I don't know in detail how MTU changes affect Mabi.
From what you've said, you can get lag spikes even
after changing back to normal MTU?
It's never happened to me, and my ISP + Router (not to mention my laptop) are crap--but I swap my MTU every time I play mabi, so I assumed that wasn't the case.
But if I was wrong, sorry for raging at you, Jas, sorry for frustrating you Nogile.
Also, thanks Nogile, I didn't even know MTU could be set below 40. I've got something new to try out now~
If somebody has changed their interface name from the default, I'd assume they have a reason, and I also assume that they do not need help from this newbie.
Edit: Sorry, before I am misunderstood, by newbie, I was referring to myself.
Edit 2: Tested, I can't connect to a channel with MTU any lower than 48.

If you mean significant as in mabikillinglag --> pro-connection, then no.
If you mean will it improve your game, then it might help a little, but you might not even notice it.
