yes, paypal chargeback is an issue, too.
That's why I only trade with trusted non-german buyers or german buyers.
Because I can easily report them to the police in germany.

I guess there is currently no really safe method except trading with trusted persons you definately know they are trusted ...

every payment-method has its leaks

Well yes true, but i usually take screen shots of everything AND i send payment link with the full text of item trades + name of the game, for example:
Guild Wars: 250 Globs of Ectoplasm.
Il take the screen shot of pm where i get the in game name + screen shot in game when i drop the items and buyer take them..In this way i have more protection than usual.
Well, thats not mean that im safe but at least i can send proofs.

Well, i never said "Im sure it work!!!", i just said that screenshot that prove something is better than have nothing.
Paypal is 99% of times in favor of buyer, so you usually cant do nothing even if you have all prooffs you want, but if you have a lot of prooffs and screenshots is better to have nothing, thats all =P =P

I am not sure, but in many countrys the police do nothing, if it is under 1000$. Next Problem the Buyer has stolen Pixels, not any real thing. For example in USA, if you rob out a supermarket and the video cam saw you. All what you get is a house ban and something like 75$.
What happened in this case in Germany/Britain/USA?
Have we some lawyers here?

well ok, I do not really know about just a regular chargeback (without ebay, buyer-contract etc), but when using it on ebay, it is illegal.
and therefore, if you have time and nervs, you can go to the police or a lawyer and I guess you will win in ~99%.
But I think nobody tried it, because mostly it's peanuts and the scammed persons are ashamed of beeing scammed

If anyone knows more details, please post it here :)

in 99% of those parts you lose, when you got scammed...
The police don't really care for such low money scamms, especially ingame stuff.
Other thing is that the scammer can go to the police, too and tell that you sell ingame stuff for real money, whats forbidden in the policy of Guild Wars.
