Its the auth server that freezes its nothing to do with the gameserver therefore meaning people that are currently logged on can still play, It doesn't matter what source you use it can still freeze if your coding is poor.

But idk i couldn't logon for several minutes.

that was cuz i was testing some new commands i kicked everyone
