[GUIDE] Multi Client VMware setup for any game (pic.s included)

hey..
i managed to set everything up
but the vmware client isnt performing well..
it lags like hell and has random freezes.
i also disabled thread optimization.
my pc specs are :
dual core 3.0ghz
2gig ram
8600gt

Make sure you tweak the guest as much as possible... lowest resolutions/color and lowest cabal settings. Also go try tweakinG your host as well.

hi phatal how can i transfer files from host to guest?

this guide only for cabal NA/EU?cabalsea works?

You can either drag and drop or you can use the VMware Shared Folder. You will have to enable the Shared Folder in options if it's not already there.

This works for any game that your PC can handle. :)

Ive gone through all these steps too, the tweaking from the other link was too much for me to digest, so i didnt went to try. But yeah my computer know-how is just barely script kiddies lvl >.<

Even though i cant get it to work (for now). My thanks to ya! =) ill keep popping back to see if there's any further solutions.

They have changed the link a few times but I just tested the link in the first post in this thread and it still takes you to the registration page. Create a community account and then fill out the registration on the page my link takes you to. Only then will you be registered to download the beta.

Did you put cabal on shared folder between guest and host or redownload it on guest?

Yes. I used the shared folder to install from. You can also drag and drop the setup.exe if you have issues with the shared folder. If shared folders isn't on the desktop after you install your version of windows you can enable it through the options on your guest's primary window.

I don't quite understand what you are asking. If you are looking for an alternate download location I can't help you with that. The link I've posted is the only way to get the installer at this time.
