ok i got a good question. I made my own server using mysql apachie and stuff. I can run aion on my server. How do i let my nephew and son play on my server now?

What files do i change and alter on there aion account to get it so there client tries to connect to my server and not ncsoft server? I don't need a link to a already made set of files i have version 2.5 fully working. I installed it on there machines now i need to know what to change to tell those clients on there machines to connect to my ip server when they launch there game.

Any help would be app. thanks nice write up. I'm new to all this and i had no issues making my own server and also upgrading after this tut you made. I was able to understand and go to another web site get the trunk files for 2.5 up graded version and get it to run with few java issues but reading the game server console was able to pin point what i did wrong and fix them with little head ache.

I've searched all over the web for 3 days trying to find a writ up on this and when i got here i was like this is so simple and easy to understand. Also in the proccess i was able to learn some new stuff i never new. as well as some programming with java based programs.

But if you can help me threw private email or even call on phone will work to help me understand more about what the game client does when you launch the icon. like what files tell it to go to ncsoft ip. This way i can learn more. My brain is like a sponge some times some leaks out but easy to absorb it back in once i learn it.

Edit I figured it out 4 hours after i posted this. No need help now. Thanks for the article again.

this also happens with the gameserver

and on the buildAll.bat I didnt have ax_gameserver.zip in the folder so I dowloaded 1 from the net ..

P.S. I did tried to build it again a few times and only the gs option but no archive

When i use the BuildAll.bat and press 1. It works fine untill it comes to the gameserver, then it tells me "buildfail". It builds all the other folders (loginserver, chatserver, commonsserver,
AE-Manager) but it doesn't want to finish the Gameserver i get a buildfaled everytime. What to do?
P.S
For the SS i used the command 3. to try and build only the gameserver, but it ends the same way.
