Actually mint, I've had UAC turned off since the OS was installed (hate that stupid thing) so not sure if that's necessary. Doubt I would have gotten this far if it were...but let me know if I STILL need to.

Try running PSMServer_Mgr as admin and starting all services.
If that fails I would try reinstalling as Admin .

I actually know very little about how Windows 7/ Vista handles anything, I just recently started using Win7 while working on my current Shaiya server .. :confused:

The past 2 weeks is really the first time I used any MS BS to a large extent. :D

My last idea would be to punch your PC. That works sometimes.:D

kk well idk if this is your solution but, i had the same problem then i started poking around and noticed i didn't allow one port which was d/cing me at the same spot you are d/cing at.. once i allowed it, everything worked fine and finally got into the game

yeah i was just gunnah say about ports. Im not sure which ports you have to allow (seen as ive never opened these ports before didnt need to :)) but if you are behind a router you will need to open these ports..do a bit of digging around on here lux im sure ive seen a post somewhere telling you which ports to open, just cant remember where..if i find it ill post you the link.

Kill all network access (and stop them from starting on boot) and reboot.

Also post any firewall logs from previous attempts.

List all running security programs.
