The only reason I can think of is to play the servers against each other, but maybe that is getting too close to wearing a tinfoil hat.Quote:
I doubt they were that clever, why not just create an anonymous account and use an IP spoofer, why go through the trouble of using his server and hoping that somebody would dig into the header.
I'll forward it to you so you don't feel left out ;)Quote:

Totally agree. I really hate when people play dumb.Quote:
Here is my take on this, I could be completely wrong though.
The origin of the email is known, it is kalle801 server's IP address.
That leaves two options: kalle801 sent it, or someone else took advantage of his open mail server.
However kalle801 knew about open mail relays almost immediately, and blamed the problem on them. That most likely means he also knew how to spoof email headers, but it is not conclusive proof of such doing.
He also posted a link to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] which is not one of the top search results for an open mail relay in any web search engine that I tested. It could be that I am not searching from a German IP address, so my search results are different.
Overall it would seem that he is guilty, but in this case it is not provable.
Regardless, it is clearly NOT a genuine email from AeriaGames.
