Well, I forgot to say that it didn't actually save anything or do anything on my computer except for the download itself, so I meant it didn't seem like anything to worry about. It looked like it was downloading the file by "saving" big pieces of it and then completing the download, if that makes any sense.

You need not be afraid - it is legal to have a "QuestHelper".

Not sure what the deal is; I was really excited to get this one to work, and thanks for sharing! but all the profit percentages in Tycoon are listed as 0% - the buy is the same as the sell price - using Auctionator to scan, and yes, Manacore is obviously activated :/

Lionbeard you need another addon to make that work. I'd recommend Auctionator. You can find it on curse, or wowinterface.

Mine works fine with Auctioneer. Also, there is a README.txt file between everything that explains a whole bunch.

I switched to Auctioneer, and now it works fine!

Well the thing is that you can either use Auctioneer or Auctionator. I personally use Auctionator (a lot simpler and a lot more light on the resources...). But what you need to make sure is that Auctionator is activated with tycoon, which is obvious. But I dunno, maybe it's the latest Auctionator update that kills this... At best, use Auctioneer with Tycoon, until they release a new version of Auctionator or Tycoon.

I tried to download all the addons, but the only one showing up is Tycoon, the booster icon is greyed out and edge or impulse aren't showing up at all (also not under the addons tab)

So the only one that currently works is Tycoon, I checked my addons folder at it's not a problem with being in another folder or anything, I know it sometimes won't work when it's addonname/addon.

Any thoughts on this?

Erm well I really don't know... Try removing all the saved variables of those addons (maybe you had them before I dunno...). And if they don't show up in the addons page, that means that it doesn't detect it. Check that in the Edge addon folder, there isn't another Edge folder, there must be .toc and .lua files.

Removed any saved variables I had from those addons, the folders only have .toc and .lua files in it, however it still won't detect impulse, edge and booster, my game only detects tycoon and manacore.

removed all the addons as well, but they still dont show up very weird..

Make sure that the other modules aren't within an extra folder.

Eg:

C:/World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons/Booster/Booster/

It needs to be:
C:/World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons/Booster/

This will then contain all the lua files etc.

The folders need to be individually moved. At first I copied everything as I downloaded it, and it didn't show up at all in my addons list in game. I'm guessing this would solve your issue.

Is this Tycoon addon worth? Anyone got some good experiences with this addon?

im trying to use the impulse addon for my keybinding and when i use the macros and the preset spells i get a lua error for the macros and the preset spells nothing happens

Well I used it a bit before, but only for farming and selling the mats... Otherwise, you need to read some guides that teach you how to make a profit using the auction house.

I dunno what bug you are talking about... This may happen if you are using this addon with a different language than English. Also, i can't help with LUA errors cause I am not the dev...
