the mod does work, the user using the mod does not work. Lol :rtfm:

It's really not hard to follow the simple instructions included. He did a very good job on them as long as you have some computer experience. If not, maybe this mod isn't for you?

You need to make sure the directory is proper.

Code:
..\Mod\repacker -r -w ..\Mod\pickles.run "D:\Glyph\Games\ArcheAge\Beta\game_pak" ..\Mod\Mods\
If that isn't working, it is because it cannot find the mod\ directory, which is why I tell people to right click & extract to mod\, winrar will create the folder itself.

If this is really such problematic for installation I'll just write up something that will search/wildcard the directories needed an just nip this in the butt as a whole.

Code:
Plox, confirm windows = interaction.alb ?
Not entirely.

@Ploxasarus - So after doing some digging around, I was able to find out the following:

The damage font is 'librebaskerville-bold.ttf' and its under game > ui > font, inside of game_pak

All I had to do was get the font I wanted it to be changed to, name it the same thing and put it in the according folder and your mod installed it. The font in game for any damage/buff/heal or whatever is now that font which is very pleasing. Do you by chance have the name of the font that is used for the chat window? That is the one that I am really needing to edit.

Also, is there a value that can be changed that would allow us to make the text that pops up for buffs and health/mana regen smaller? It's a bit obtrusive and I think scaling it down would be of a benefit. Thanks!

It's just the shitty russian version, not really that big of a deal to be honest. It doesn't even have half the shit that this has. Not to mention all the broken lua it has inside that the guy claims he did work on an doesn't even realize how bad it is. Also its funny cause I looked into the client files, read his main post, see absolute nothing in the files that has anything to do with rendering at all..

Also I've updated it for you Xi.Cynx to show you how I myself did the ingame font and let you go from there. You can set different fonts, by the way, just by renaming the fonts in the font folder an setting it, like you did, or you can do it like this.

Just look for "Custom Font" in the readme and check the Optional folder :D.

Haven't seen your reply before :-) Just wanted to mention it. Was sure it's just the russian version leaked again...

But still asking for another hint. Dunno why you make such a secret out of it. Beside that, trying to figure it out... Just hate that the game takes such a long time to load everytime. I'm a noob in these ^^

Ahhh, I don't frequent epvp much so I didn't even see this until a few days down the road. Just gonna throw out a vouch here for Plox from the GW2 side (though I quit a while ago). He does great work, nice guy. o7

Didn't even know you switched over to AA man. xD
I'll hit you up on Skype later.

Hey Plox, thanks again for the updates.

I'm curious with the replacing of the font, do I need to manually unpack the game_pak & dump the font I want in the correct directory myself?

Im wondering, is it Packet related or Client related to have something like a Thunderstruck radar? Im making constant HUGE secret farms and its hard to find stuff in there, is there a way to make it easyer or to have somewhat of a radar to show where the TS are at?
