Thought I'd pop in and say forget about registering on the official website. Instead download via newsgroups or a bittorrent. I recently downloaded VMware.Workstation.v6.5.2.156735.Incl.Keymaker-ZWT and installed on Windows 7 x64 so that I could install Windows XP x32 to vpn to my work. It's much more solid now a days from when I originally made this guide. You can also use the "VMware Player" that comes with this which will use even less resources.
For the million dollar question about trying to run Cabal on private servers and it says you cannot. I never figured it out either when I was playing Cabal. I've however been playing WAR and cancelled. Starting Aion closed beta now and it is awesome so far. :) Good luck all.

Bro i got a question here.
If i setup a VM say i want it to run on xp x32.. will it work eventhough my laptop runs on vista? do i need the drivers for xp? because before i tried downgrading my laptop to xp i got problems running xp. so i went back to vista. TIA

someone said using notepad to open the vmx config file and put the following quotes in can make it work.Quote:
I get the same error messages : "Sorry, this application cannot run under a virtual machine."
