Seeing Item quality on floor

when ever i use it theres an error message taht comes up. itemtype.exe has encountered a problem.. blah blah blah then i clikc downt send and then it sez click any key i do and it closes ! so im a newb and im sorry if this is a really stupid question. well any help would be greatly appreciated!thx!
