[Release] PBDO Bot - Official Thread

It seems like BP started to fight against BOT users. When they see bots on maps, they just update their client version. It looks like they're fighting really hard...let's see what will happen...

TBH, Update always seems to come a few hours, sometimes minutes after Ibot updates...

My guess is they are just watching when updates come out and then launch their own update.

Think its safe to say, dont think about botting for atleast 24hrs :)

i agree with u .just bot for few hours everyday ..u sure update is following ibot release?

i cannot login to pbdo.it says email have to be checked but i receive no email .i already activated my acc o_O

Does the bigpoint notice that if they kiiled all of bots, they will lost users.

If they lose so much users how all say ,then I'm sure a nice guy or team will create a DarkOrbit Privat Server and then all players will turn back to the DO-PS

And I know there are lot of darkorbit remixes but this isn't darkorbit it's just a from kids created kind of shit

Good day everyone.


As you may have noticed we had a lot of downtimes the last weeks and inflationary trend on darkorbit update intervalls.
However the changes of the last 2-3 updates are not even a new encryption or some complex alternations.
It's effects, at least for us, are big chunks of work to adapt PBDO-Bot to the game client changes every ~48 hours.
As we see it unacceptable to enter a cat and mouse game like that we are going to stay offline for significant internal changes.
The estimated period to do so is ~7 days.


I know this sounds bad at first, but if we are every 48 hours offline for 24 hours it's almost impossible to do bugfixing or even implement new features.
If you ask why our bot hasn't already beeing written in the way we now want to do?
Well as we entered the DarkOrbit scene about two years ago the status of today was almost unthinkable, and so we did choose the easiest way..

I hope our decision making is traceable for you.

Good choice. Better do a good update so they can easy fix to new version within hours than being up for 1 or 2 days and then beeing offline again. I'm looking forward and think they will do their job pretty well:)

DO are not going to stop these updates... Lol... They wont achieve anything.

Either keep running the bot or end it...

We will get it back in 7 days then 2 days later, DO update...

The cycle will be never ending.. a 7 day wait wont make a difference to DO...

Yah... I dont think an Ibot user has been able to bot for more than 2-3 hours before DO updating... 3x last updates I beleve

I'm sure they make a new system for updates to fight against the new DO daily updates

Is there any pbdo-bot status checker program so you can see if bot is online?
